As our Vice President of Product Management, you’ll build our Product Team from the ground up. As both a hands-on and strategic leader of Product, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing our product roadmap, driving product development, and ensuring our offerings meet the needs of our current and future customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the HR technology marketplace, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of successful product management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and deliver high-quality products that drive business growth. 

 
What you'll do:

  • Develop a clear and compelling product vision that aligns with the company's overall mission and goals. Continuously refine the product strategy based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives. 
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. 
  • Partner with the CEO to develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key initiatives, timelines, and milestones. Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business goals. 
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales team. 
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities. Understand customer needs and pain points through interactions and data to inform product decisions.  
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Regularly report on product performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership. 
  • Foster an engaging, fun, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment. 

What you’ll need to have: 

  • 5+years leading Product Management functions at a high-growth B2B SaaS software business, preferably one in the HR technology industry 
  • Experience at companies with sophisticated investor backing (Private Equity, Venture, etc.) 
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing products to market and driving product growth in a SaaS environment. 
  • Proven success working with a highly configurable software platform, paired with navigating enterprise-level customers through complex product implementation processes. 
  • Ability to quickly analyze, synthesize, understand, and subsequently improve operational processes. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. 

What will help you stand out as a candidate: 

  • Proven record of building a Product Management team from the ground up, or leading a Product Management team through a period of strategic and operational improvement/innovation. 
  • Experience working in B2B HR Technology with large enterprise customers, specifically working with CHRO, Talent Acquisition, Talent Compliance, and/or Compensation departments.  
  • Deep technical knowledge and experience as a key partner in strategic planning for a growing B2B software business. 
  • Strong bias toward action. 
  • Ability to solve problems autonomously. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  
  • Ability to empower and motivate employees while holding them accountable to desired outcomes/results.  

This role reports to our Chief Executive Officer.
